Makes for a different feel, you must be a bit more deliberate and precise with your actions with this on. I don't bother with the lens armor that came with this. Attracts too much dust and dirt.

Buy new: $299.95 Just picked this up, I can tell a huge difference in dark environments with this over the built on. I am getting some great shots and since I can pivot the flash I don't get a glare or harsh light with every shot like I would otherwise, shooting on continuous with this on is a breeze. The 430 will do for awhile, and once I can afford the 580, the 430 can be used as a slave.
