Medela Pump in Style Advanced Breast PumpMedela Pump in Style Advanced Breast Pump
Buy new: $349.98
While the bag doesn't hold much if you keep your pump in it, this breast pump has served me well and I like it much better than the older Pump in Style original model.

I've never used the nipples for these, but the larger bottles come in handy now that I'm pumping about 6 ounces at a time. Note: all these bottles work fine with Evenflo caps and nipples, which are so much easier to find at the store.

These were perfect to store pumped milk when my son was born, since I usually only pumped a couple ounces from each side at that point. They thaw a lot faster than the bigger bottles, too.

Some women supposedly don't leak, but I've never been that blessed. Even in the hospital, my gown would be soaked whenever I fed my son. I still use them quite a bit 10 months later, although if I pump regularly, I can go without them.

I haven't needed this that much for myself since I started nursing, but it comes in handy when my son's face gets chapped from teething-related drooling. And I can use it on his lips without worrying what's in it.
The Nursing Mother's Companion: Revised EditionThe Nursing Mother's Companion: Revised Edition by Kathleen Huggins
Buy new: $10.17 / Used from: $4.90
I read this before my son was born, and referred to it as time went on afterwards. It gave me the confidence to keep going, especially when almost NO doctors here are updated about breastfeeding. It's not expensive, and not hard to read, but it is fairly thorough.
Medela Harmony Manual Breast PumpMedela Harmony Manual Breast Pump
Buy new: $27.00
This is very useful for the first couple months when milk production isn't that much. It can be a pain to drag out the electric pump when you know you're only going to get a couple ounces. But it's not really much good for regular pumping and won't maintain your supply if you go back to work.

We used these with my son to give him my milk while I was at work. He took to them right away and we haven't had a hard time with them. There's never been a great need to have a bigger bottle than this, since he drinks breast milk, he only ever has six ounces at a time, if that.

These nipples and bottles fascinate me, and I would have gotten them if they had been around a year ago.
Sony Quick Battery Charger with 4 AA Ni-MH Rechargeable BatteriesSony Quick Battery Charger with 4 AA Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries
Buy new: $29.99
A MUST HAVE item with the Pump in Style, because I don't have access to a power outlet at work. The pump uses 10 batteries, and if I pump twice a day, must be recharged over the weekend. The bad thing is that these particular batteries take FOREVER to charge. But they last a long time.
Graco Angelcare Movement Sensor with Nursery MonitorGraco Angelcare Movement Sensor with Nursery Monitor
Buy new: $79.99
This was SO helpful and reassuring the first few months, since as a first-time mom, I was terrified my son would stop breathing. We actually got the one with two monitors, which wasn't really necessary. As a sound monitor, we don't really use it, because there's a lot of interference from the lights in our house.
Infantino Euro Rider in Khaki and BlackInfantino Euro Rider in Khaki and Black
Buy new: $41.63
We got this as opposed to the more expensive models, and we still use it every day to take our son to daycare. It doesn't work for newborns, but it's fine after a month or two. I wouldn't have turned down a Baby Bjorn, but this one is nice for the money.
Bebe au Lait: Ivory EyeletBebe au Lait: Ivory Eyelet
Buy new: $38.00
I just got this but I wish I had had it when my son was born. It's useful for nursing in public when you don't want half a dozen people holding a blanket up to cover you. And I'm not one of those people who can bare it all, which would be admittedly a lot easier.

We got this for visiting my parents, but would have gotten it if we had a bathtub here. My son loves it, and it's very versatile.
