Buy used from: $148.85 This is the base model. Doesn't do 1080p or 24 fps. Does not have 5.1 analog outputs. If you want a cheap player that can play HD-DVDs and up-convert DVD to 1080i or 720p this is a good choice. It does not have 5.1 analog outputs so if your receiver doesn't have HDMI audio capabilities then the HD-A35 is a better choice.

Buy used from: $80.00 This is the base model. If your display only supports 1080i or 720p and you have a receiver that can except HDMI audio then this player is for you.

Buy used from: $99.99 This player has the same features as the newer HD-A30. The HD-A30 is less expensive, unless you can get a HD-A20 used or on clearance.

Buy used from: $107.88 Same as the HD-A3. Only supports up to 1080i and doesn't do 24 fps. You may be able to get one of these for a spectacular price on clearance.

 | LG Electronics BH100 Blu-Ray/HD-DVD Player
Buy used from: $240.00 This is a combo player from LG. If you can't decide which format to chose then you will be safe here. Some of the HD-DVD features are not available however on the dual players. You could also buy a HD-A3 and a Sony BDP-S500 for the same price. Such is the case with most combo players.
