Full frame; good images at high ISO.  An extra stop or so of highlight detail in the RAW format.  Woo hoo.

Like the 580EX, but smaller, lighter and less powerful.  Great second flash. Works as slave without extra hardware.

For remote release on a tripod.  The 5D allows mirror lockup.  There are also timer-enabled and wireless versions.  Very short, so if you need distance, you'll need the outrageously priced extension.

Hood for 100mm/f2.8.  (Non multi-coated 58mm UV filter comes with kit.)

UV/Haze/protective filter for 24mm; note thin design (aka "sharp cut").  Not multi-coated.

Kit curiously contains 58mm Haze filter for the 100/2.8 macro, big bag, and a spare battery.

Light and steady carbon fibre; collapses small with four-section legs.  There's a less expensive, heavier version.

Gitzo's offset (wide range of motion) ball head; nice and smoothe.  Some prefer their center ball (more limited range, but lighter) heads.

Photoshop guide to dealing with RAW images.  OK, and I can't find an alternative. But it's too wordy by half with far too much rah-rah-RAW blather.

You'll need some big disks; this one's PATA, not SATA.
