The 10-22mm lets you achieve true wide angle with a camera that operates on a 1.6 aspect sensor (i.e. the rebels). Take a look at the pictures people have taken with this lens and tell me you aren't drooling over this lens!

 | Canon 430EX Speedlite Flash for Canon Pro1, Pro 90, G Series and all EOS SLR Cameras
Buy new: $187.95 I don't understand why they put that flash on the camera in the first place. All it does is produce contrasty and overall bad images. The reason that a speedlight is ok is that instead of pointing directly at the subject, the light can be bounced off of a ceiling and therefore producing a more diffused, flattering and softer light.
