![]() | The Betterphoto Guide to Digital Photography (Amphoto Guide Series) by Jim Miotke
Buy new: $16.47 / Used from: $11.21 Miotke takes what could be frighteningly technical and makes it approachable and easy to understand. This is definitely a hands-on workbook for anyone new to digital cameras or photography. Not all the content will be relevant to a Home Stager whose primary goal is to shoot room interiors, but this book will help you understand your digital camera better.

![]() | Sell Yourself Without Selling Your Soul: A Woman's Guide to Promoting Herself, Her Business, Her Product, or Her Cause with Integrity and Spirit (Harperresource Book) by Susan Harrow
Buy used from: $89.00 I first read this book almost 10 years ago, and it's as relevant today. Harrow is a veteran of the public relations business and shares tons of great ideas and techniques. I like her unique take on self-promotion which is about being true to who you really are. Her conversational writing style takes away the fear around getting publicity, and I really like her client examples and anecdotes.

![]() | The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron
Buy used from: $14.98 This book is a classic in the genre! I read it a couple of times but the real change came when I made time to do the exercises she recommends. Julia's chapters seemed to anticipate what I was going through in my own journey. Journal writing is a huge part of what she advocates. I've always been a journal writer myself and it's helped me work though many issues.
