You'll need three to use daily.

Basic, plain old Cellphone. Has a lanyard attach point to help keep me from losing it or washing it in the clotheswasher. Has a slightly rubberized grip, but I've cut and put traction stickers on it so that I won't drop it, even with gloves. Goes in the top left pocket, being attached to the lanyard which is attached to the carabiner on my left side.

For holding all of those songs, extra pictures, and for working on computers at the campus! Goes inside the Palm Zire 71.

For taking notes in class. Folds into a nice, compact size. Goes inside left cargo pocket.

Mine's red, has a lanyard, a rubber tip so that it won't roll when I lay it on something, and an LED conversion kit to help the batteries last longer. Goes inside right cargo pocket. NOTE: I do not carry this any longer, as I have upgraded to a Task Force 1 Watt LED Flashlight, that I wear in its holster on my right side.

I actually empty this out completely and puta few things in my wallet, leaving only a few medical supplies, a sewing kit, what I list below. Henceforth referred to as "Emergency Kit". Good stuff. Takes a lot of room, but makes waterproofing a shelter roof, and retaining campfire heat a LOT easier. Goes in the emergency kit.
