.... must have
I now not all psp gamers are into rpg's but let me tell ya that this game got a lot of action, and the story line OMG, it is really a must have, it takes the psp to the next level.
If you like a good story and awsome grafics go for it
I want it to be better, WHY SQUARESOFT WHY!!!
I love final fantasy and couldnt wait for this game to come out. I played alot when I first got it, but played less and less as I found how repetative it is. I know how all Final Fantasy games are repetative, but this was insane. You run through extra mission after extra mission to power up, but its always the exact same mission. Plus leveling up is random!!! what kinda bull is that? You could play for an hour and level up 5 times, then die and do the same exact thing yet only level up once. The game was gorgeous though. Movies looked like they were out of Advent Children. The story was a spin-off of one of the best video games ever and delivered. I rated the game a 3 because it was such a tease. You want to reveal the story and finish it, but in order to do so you have to complete hours and hours of boring crap. The burden of playing outweighed the desire for the story. In conclusion, the game had amazing potential but failed on the most basic of values.
Simply amazing
Without rehashing everything good everyone else has said, I just have to say it's the best game I've played for a long time, and certainly the best for the PSP.
I have avoided FF games for years, mainly because I hate turn-based battle systems. I bought this one because it was real-time, and what a wonderful experience it was. Since playing it, I've decided to try some of the other FF games, and so far I've had more good experiences.
I have nothing bad to say about Crisis Core. Graphics were amazing, music strikes you emotionally, the story is excellent .. with the ending being VERY emotional. I put over 130 hours into the game, so I got a lot of game-play for my money.
The game was so good, I was depressed for days afterwards. It's definitely in my "play-again" pile of games. :)
