Awesome for digital cameras that eat batteries!
My camera was eating batteries. It would take maybe 5 pictures then shut off. I have been so pleased with Eneloop battery performance. I've been taking pictures on and off for days now. I wish i could be exact, but I think it's been 2 weeks since I last charged the batteries, and we've been taking a lot of pictures :) I bought the smaller Travel version of this last month. Then I wanted more batteries for it, but found out it was a better deal to buy this set with a 4 battery charger. My only regret is that I did not buy this years ago.

Time to go rechargable !
They work better and last longer per charge than alkaline batteries. They hold most of their charge for about 1 year. Can be recharged up to 1000 times. No memory, recharge whenever you want. With each one equal to about 1000 alkaline batteries, this is a no brainer. Time to go rechargable ? YES ! There are cheaper batteries with the same claims. I have not tried them.

I'm not a techno-savvy person when it comes to batteries - I just want the batteries to last reasonably long and charge relatively quickly. I bought these on the advice of a boyfriend who was absolutely obsessed with battery life and charging rates. He sounded knowledgable about the subject, and I liked the simple blue-and-white Eneloop look, so I plunked down the money and bought this set.

I don't think I could be happier with the Eneloops. They really do seem to last a lot longer than my Energizers (which were nearly brand new, but not performing well at all), and the charger is incredibly simple to use and operate. I keep a couple of the AAs in a battery operated "candle" which I keep in the bathroom as a nightlight, and the batteries seem to last forever before finally needing to be recharged again. I especially like the little carrying case, which is perfect for taking the batteries on travel trips, and you can always tell if a battery is "missing" since there is a place for each one. I'm very happy with the Eneloops, and I suspect I'll be sticking with them for awhile now.
