Nikon D300 Review
Very good detail; a little fast on a couple of things. I had a problem taking the photo at night; emailed the author, but did not get any return advise. Worth the money.
Very Helpful D300 training
Since I was an early adopter, no guides for the D300 were yet available. I find that I do much better with video training being a visual person. One can hold the camera and stop the DVD and repeat if needed. Both presenters were clear and helpful, complementary to each other. I come back to this DVD from time to time, refreshing knowledge about certain features. Well worth the money!
OK Video. Not a Top Notch Production
I am an intermediate level photographer and I guess anyone with a D300 would at least be on the same level or better. All I can say about these videos is that half way thru the first disc, I fell asleep. I returned to watch the rest of it a couple of weeks later. I didn't even make it all the way thru the second disc. I am more of a technical person and I found the owner's manual more interesting than this 2 disc set. Really. I ended up selling the discs used on eBay to recoup some money. I can't really recommend this at all. If your completely new to photography you may be able to grasp some of the concepts in this video. If your more advanced you will probably just find this boring and a rehash of the information in the owner's manual albeit with some amateur tips thrown in here and there. There is a lot of content but it is not well organized and is poorly presented. I think this was a quickly produced video to grab some quick sales on a new model camera with all the hype and attention that a great new model generates.
