Very bad battery, so-so tripod and OK on everything else
The kit was part of my purchase of Sony DCR-SR300 camcorder when I bought it in spring 2007. Despite I was informed the bundled "kit" is often just a profit-maker for the shops who sell cameras and camcorders cheap, I bought the kit anyway as I do need those items in a hurry and can live with just an OK quality. There is mixed quality on the items in this kit.

Good and useful - the bag, screen protecter (used on my PDA as well), MS card and wide-angle lens (great to use in many occasions).

Probably good but I don't use - lens clean kit, filters, telescopic lens (as in the close-up it's too hard to hold still anyway) and battery charger (will explain later).

Bad quality - The tripod jiggles and has large backlash when rotating. But that also teaches me what to look for when choosing a tripod. The real disappointment is the CTA battery. It's pretend-to-be-AC connection is awkward to use and makes us not able to know the remaining time on the battery. But shortly that is no longer important - because the battery CAN'T NOT HOLD ANY CHARGE after about 5 times of use. Unfortunately the battery and tripod were the main reason I bought the kit.

My verdict - a kit is a convenient way to get many accessories if you don't have most of items. However, if you have some time, go to a store to choose accessories that the use and feel is essential.

Thought the Quality Would Be Better
Everything was in the kit but some items, such as the lenses, tripod, and battery, weren't really of the quality I expected to go along with the Sony HDR-SR7. Since I bought the kits as gifts, I didn't bother going through trying to return them. The gift recipients can use what they want and ignore the rest. Would have been better off just getting a card, spare battery and bag.

Decent set of accesories for camera.
The bag, tripod, cleaning kit and mobile charger are nice. The backup battery is an unusual design, but appears to work fine. The lens filters are not very useful. Overall, a functional set of products, but don't expect any extras.
