Great battery
It does what a battery is supposed to do. Holds its charge a long time, easy to insert in charger. Very pleased.

Best battery pack I ever had
Some weeks ago I bought a Sony Alpha 200 DSLR. It came with the NP-FM500H battery pack. Although it's always a bit tricky some cameras work only with their own make of batteries which are pretty expensive, I find this Sony NP-FM500H battery pack is the best I ever have used so far.

It's not so important to know how much juice there's left by an exact percentage (it's useful though!) but it's better to know there's sufficient power to take far more than 400 exposures. I once could take 453 pictures. So I think the NP-FM500H battery pack isn't too expensive. And if you go on a DSLR I think a reliable battery life is most important.

Sony Price
Most find it essential to have a backup battery for their cameras. This is especialy true for cameras with a dedicated type battery like this. You just can't pop into Walgreens and pick up a set of AAs to use. But Sony being Sony, you're paying Top dollar. At least your getting a good battery. I don't believe some of the claims here about battery life however.
