Customer Reviews

One dead pixel but otherwise OK.4
Quality is decent. I have another Envision monitor that I like so I decided to go with this one. Disappointed at the bright green bad pixel staring me in the face when I hooked it up. Also, the stand didn't have all the rubber feet attached and some were actually stuck at random to the back of the monitor where they don't belong!

Returning this and getting a 22" widescreeen for about $30 more.

Had to return the first one for a bad pixel4
Had got it at BestBuy (sorry) locally, it was on sale for 159.99 - no rebates, out the door with tax for $171 something.
I play a lot of Visual Pinball so I need the faster refresh rate.
This monitor performed admirably (aside from the blown pixel - am using the second one now).
Used a lot of visualizations from WinAmp and for those of you that have not seen the MilkDrop series of visualizations, you are missing out.
They are EXTREMELY graphics intensive.

This montitor never framed or pixelated at all during any of the stuff I have run it through.

It also comes with very bright internal lamps, my friend says that is good.
The standard brightness was way too bright for me and I have both brightness and contrast turned almost all the way down on this and the prior monitor. My buddy says the more of the lamp you use the less its life will be and the fact it is so bright too start is a sign it may last a while - he was impressed.

I got a killer deal at BestBuy but would not hesitate to buy from ANY of the Amazon retailers. I have bought from Geeks.com, Buy.com and DependableResource and all were prompt, accurate and of good quality.

Over all I am giving it a 4 of 5 cause of the bad pixel on the first one.
I may check back in six months and if the monitor continues to perform well, I'll add the other star.

Great monitor, not widescreen (I Hate Those - too small).

Best of Luck to you.
