robot bunny adopted for easter
We have enjoyed our new nabaztag rabbit... the kids can't believe it when he says their name. (They're 6, 4, & 18 months.)
I like that he tells me the weather when I'm getting the kids ready for school- so I know which jackets to choose. The reminders are also nice and makes getting ready for a doctor appt. a bit more fun.
He's definitely in competition with the cuckoo clock- the way he share the time is wacky and fun.

Our experience with the nabaztag online registration was a hoot! Such a clever and sweet company... also quite an international experience.
Its a stylish, subtle toy that makes our kitchen all the more fun.
A pet without the mess... however the emails that a message has been sent can get to be much. I'm sure I could turn that feature off- but have not looked for the choice in our "burrow" online.

Go adopt a rabbit now would ya!?!

Brillant but flawed
I bought a Nabaztag for my wife, who is not in any way a techie, and she loves it. Her favorite aspect is that it can be set to act in a random and entertaining manner, saying silly things about the time or reading emails I send it throughout the day. I bought it with the idea that it would be more entertaining than a normal internet radio, but it does a good job as one, with some excellent programs, podacasts, and RSS feeds to choose from. The setup was easy and the website is easy for her to navigate.

The downside is that the servers are in France, they are down often, and many of the functions only work occasionally. Tech support is, well you send them an email and maybe they reply in a few days. Because the servers are down so often and without notice, it is difficult to know if there is something wrong with the product, your wireless connection, or their service. I don't regret buying it, but keep in mind this is a 'bleeding edge' use of technology, and I sincerely hope that Violet gets thier act together and grows both the services and the product line.

Still waiting to play
I may modify this review later... when I receive a working power supply. My Nabaztag/tag was shipped with a power supply that completely doesn't work. So, I have nothing fun to review until I get the new supply.

The good news is that the company is sending a new power supply my way....
