Bulky but convenient3
Good to protect what you have. But it can be a bit cumbersome to carry around. Perhaps more rounded corners. But overall a decent attempt.

Good case4
Much needed case for the G7 and G9 cameras. Attractive and rugged. Compact - not any larger than required. Includes optional clip on side case for spare battery and memory card.

Try The Psc 75 case3
The Canon PSC-75 Deluxe Soft Case for PowerShot S1 IS, S2 IS, and G6 seems to work fine for the g9 and is cheaper. due to the slightly extra depth, there is plenty room for the neckstrap, and the small pouch inside works fine for an extra battery and sd card. I've really pushed it an managed to jam the charger in as well, but be careful not to scratch the motitor screen!!
