Product Description

Introducing the Zigview S2, which adds innovative features to the world's first real-time digital angle viewfinders for most digital and film SLR cameras. The Zigview S2 revolutionizes SLR photography with its remote detachable 2.5 inch LCD screen, video output, motion sensor, intervalometer, and more. The new Zigview S2 attaches to your DSLR viewfinder and displays a live video feed from the viewfinder to its large 2.5 inch high resolution LCD screen. You can tilt and rotate the LCD for viewing at any angle, including from the front of the camera. This makes low-angle, high-angle, and now even self-portraits easier than ever. In addition to the intervalometer and nine-zone TTL motion detection shutter release capabilities of the Zigview R, the new Zigview S2 utilizes higher resolution optics, and a highly sensitive CCD sensor with 270,000 pixels and a rapid refresh rate. Its very bright LCD finder can be viewed easily in daylight. The Zigview S2 has NTSC/PAL video output so that the image can also be viewed on an external large TV screen or monitor. In addition, the Zigview S2's built-in LCD monitor can be separated from the camera using an accessory video transceiver cable. This enables the photographer to view the image in the viewfinder and fire the shutter from a remote location up to 40 feet from the camera. The Zigview S2 is particularly useful for low angle photography where you would struggle to see through the viewfinder especially

ZigView-S2 Type B Digital Viewfinder for Nikon 3
Pros: It is a great idea, good device. I'd rated at 5 stars.
Cons (which down rate the device):
-A little part of the eye piece adapter AZV3051 is already broke off. Adapter's material should be stronger.
-Before mounting on the camera colors are vivid. Subjects' colors are weak after assambling.
-Screen size adjustment is difficult. It requires additional info or lessens even for extra money.
Conclusion: Regardless of cons I am widely using The ZigView-S2 and happy that there is one. Improvements would make the device much more valuable.

Great idea... BUT!!2
Actaully,As a professional photographer and I shoot a lot on Cine locatioins, I asked Canon for the same option few months ago in the next hi-end pro body in the future. But when Zigview S2 came, I invisted in the Type B viewfinder.

Pros: - gives you a great access to the viewfinder in extreme hard situations (on the floor, up in the sky, or sometimes like attaching the camera to remote cinema camera head on a crane)
- motion sensor shooting (needs an accessory and all accessories are quite expensive)
- interval shooting, grid(s), and many other nice options.

Cons:
- the screen quality is REALLY BAD. and I don't think the price I paid is fair for a screen with that colors, illumination, contrast.
- doesn't come with hard case (weird for a monitor should be placed in a camera bag!)
- Battery lasts about 20 minutes of shooting!
- Video out gives you a crabby quality when attached to an external monitor.
screen adjustment can not be fixed on my Canon 1D MarkII N and I miss all the left bar.
- Customer support doesn't get back to you.
and when they come back they ask you to contact another tech support people somewhere else on the Earth.
when you contact them, they don't get back to you with any answer!
- I use the Angle C viewfinder most of the time, but in siutations when it is dark, or I can't access the camera I use it.

Over all, it is an expensive accessory, helps in very rare situations, and I wish I never bought it.
