The best set in my opinion and its out of print forever5
Volume 10 if you can afford it is to me the best volume. 2 Mike & 2 Joel shows plus a great mix of movies
Swamp Diamonds - Show 503 is a decent episode, this is one that you should be in the mood to sit back and watch otherwise it might drag. Skits & everything are all good.
Teenage Strangler - Show 515 - Mike's 2nd movie and he sings the Janitor song - This is a cult classic with all sorts of 50's style jokes, songs and the like. The infamous "I didnt steal no bike either" line starts here. Someone is murdering the school kids. With gangs, fights and all sorts of rants and raves, I really like this episode a lot as do a lot of MST fans.
Giant Spider Invasion - Show 810 - the first color movie on the scifi channel era of episodes. The movie for me is a guilty pleasure and spiders are creepy, the big one is a VW bug in a spider costume, but this is somewhat gory (uncut)-where the man gets eaten and there is a scene where that sick father who wears a girdle flirts a lot with his daughter (uncut you get to see her topless) Bill Rebane calls this his worst, but I like it and it for me makes a great episode. I have watched this one over and over. I didnt like the host segments as much because the focus was less on the skits from the movie and more of a weekly continuation of the cast, which doesnt work because some episodes arent on DVD so it ruins the continuity.
The last episode- an all time favorite movie of mine and why this DVD is OOP -
Godzilla vs Megalon - Show 212
A favorite episode of mine. I love Godzilla movies, even this one, low budget & all. This is the worst Godzilla movie in terms of special effects , by far and the best choice for an MST3K show...Godzilla vs Megalon had no budget, stock footage, goofy dialog, a stupid kid (the kid is from Godzilla vs Hedorah)and it is still very entertaining story wise. Its a popcorn movie.
I enjoyed the segments in this a lot & the invention exchange is a hoot, Joel as Jiffy Pop Popcorn. I really like Season 2 a lot... Anyway, this volume is out of print due to this very title, Toho wasnt too thrilled about an unauthorized release of it, similar to when Alpha Video released this a few years ago.. To see this movie uncut is VERY cool, sci-fi channel plays it every now and then. There are tons of scenes in the international English dubbing of the movie. If you want to see an MST3K show for the first time, this is a very good one to start with at least with Joel...get this set if you have the money to get it. This is a big winner..

Failed to deliver1
I was exstatic when this boxset came in the mail. I had wanted it for a while. Much to my surprise, when I opened it up, it was discless. All that was sent to me was the box. Now i can't prove this, I can only give my word. However, one evidence that's on my side is the wrapping. It wasn't the same as all my other MST3Ks. This one had a harder, more 'crinkly' wrapping while normal MST3Ks have a softer wrapping. It could just have easily been opened up, and re-wrapped in this different material. I contacted the company and have yet to get a response. This company still has my money while I have no movies. I plan on ordering another one (from a different company) but I want a resolution to this problem before I do that.

A fan all the way5
Wouldn't miss owning any of their compilations. just good ole dorky fun and some great awful films! Keep them coming!
