Great protector for your camera
I have been using the Canon WP-DC80 Waterproof case for over two years now and I'm extremely satisfied. It has performed well in numerous trips (both underwater and on the boat). The case has not needed any reapplication of the included gel to keep the rubber seal intact. I'll probably do so after writing this just in case. Photos taken with the case are clear (assuming you wipe the front lens after brining it out of the water or after having been splashed on). Video taken with the case on has its sound a bit muffled. The person holding the camera can be heard clearly but the pickup fades just two feet away. That's understandable considering the camera is in a waterproof case. I love that the case allows the camera to float. A tipping over of my kayak tested this ability and it passed with flying colors. The camera did start to get away from me in the current so I suggest using an additional tether to keep that from happening. Cleaning of the case is important if you expose it to salt water. I always have and the springs beneath the buttons show no signs of rusting or other deterioration.

This product is awesome and works very well. I was nervous about putting my camera under the sea at first, but once I checked it, everything was A-OK.

I would highly recommend this but remember to buy the weights for it. It is difficult to keep steady if you don't have these weights, but also be sure not to drop it if you the weights on it as well! Secure it to your BC!!

My BIL gave it to me as a gift. Its excellent product. I am a Big fan of Canon. I used this with my SD 550 Power shot camera. amazing results. Very easy to use. It gives full funtionality of camera. Easy and lightweight to carry.
