Product Description
Opteka fisheyes allow photographers to get close to the action and achieve exaggerated perspectives. This creates drama and excitement. Advances in high-index / low-dispersion optical glasses, new barrel materials, and exotic anti-reflection coatings, along with the latest in computer-aided-design / computer-aided-manufacturing), are combined to produce lenses of unprecedented quality. Diamond-cut from crystal-clear, water-white optical glass, Opteka lenses are ground and polished to a precise precision. Because all Opteka lenses are designed and manufactured with the highest possible degree of consistency, you can swap lenses mid-shoot with no discernable variation in color or effect. The unprecedented purity, color saturation and repeatability of Opteka lenses virtually eliminate the need for lab color timing corrections caused by other lenses. This puts more creative control where it belongs, in your hands.

Customer Reviews
You get what you paid for :(
So I bought this lens to simply save money (and hopefully it would meet my expectations). While the lens does work - I think it only can work in non-sun lit areas (heavy light). The main reason is that there is no hood that comes with it and there is a protective lens cover that creates an unwanted lens flare. In addition, the outter edges of the image become fuzzy. If you need something quick and dirty this is a good cheap solution. If you are looking for quality images... dont waster your cash.
