Customer Reviews
No WPA support with NetGear Router
If you have WEP or No security on your wireless network this will work fine, but if you have WPA or WPA2 you are out of luck. Even though the package says WPA is supported, when you email Kodak support they will tell you it is NOT supported with certian wireless routers. My NetGear WGR614 for example does not work with this card.
Kodak Wi-Fi Card
I am now using my Kodak EasyShare 500 with my entire home network.
What a great item for a FANTASTIC printer.
It took less than 10 minutes to get it into my network. Just plug the card into the printer and it came up in the network ready to configure.
The 5000 printer even has BlueTooth. If you want to go wireless this Kodak
card and printer is the way to go.
Works great!
If your Kodak camera can fit one of these, and you have a wireless network -- or are near them when you take images -- get this card. I use it MUCH more often than I thought I would, and it's great to be able to send images to friends and family just after taking them.
