Excellent adaptor with only one drawback.
The adaptor works great, but if you have the 72mm filter size on your lens, there is a possibility that you will see this adaptor in your photos. I mount mine aon a Sigma 17-75mm. I can see the adaptor when shooting wide. This is not a problem as I am always zoomed out in which the adaptor disappears. Canon quality!

A NEEDED item for Upscale macro photography...
If you use a 180mm macro lens like the nice Tamron or the Wonderful Canon 180mm L series Macro. The adapter is a hard thing to find, and is needed to mount your Macro Twin Lite or ringlite to the flash so you get the proper exposure and depth of field. It's not cheap, but then again most camera accessories are pricey. A good ground glass filter will run you a pretty penny but needed if you want to keep you optic quality from you high end lenses. its a must have, just make sure not to loose it.....

Macrolite adaptor
This adaptor can be used with all 72mm lenses. If you cannot attach directly you can purchase a step up adaptor which works quite well.
I have used this adaptor to connect my macrolite to a Canon 28-135mm IS lens and the results are fantastic.
