Customer Reviews
Happy with BBofL
The art school I go to was always referring to this book, and I saw a friend of mine drool over it while at Barnes and Noble. I think it's definitely worth the cash, and a fantastic reference tool. There's a little bit of older, outdated work in there, but overall the book is great.
It's Okay.
A mixed bag of layouts and samples. A few too many are low quality and pixilated images to rate this any higher than 3 stars. Overall not bad and not great.
60% Good Examples - 40% Bad Examples
Most of the layouts and designs look quite impressive. However, there are some examples that should have not made it into this book unless the author was trying to showcase some examples of what not to do. If that's the case, then I totally missed the point.
