Good basic book on lovebird mutations and genetics, despite the occasionaly poor photo or naming error. I also recommend Dr. Terry Martin's Guide to Colour Mutations and Genetics in Parrots (below).

Stand to be used with the cage(s) referenced above. Best practice is to put birds only in the top two tiers, as those too close to the floor do not seem to thrive as well.

Buy four cages and a stand together. Good deal. Compare prices via a google search.

Nice cage. Could have easier access and be easier to clean, but a good value for the money.

Many breeders and vets recommend a pelleted complete food for hookbills. Be sure to follow directions to switch your bird over from a seed diet, if this is the way you choose to go. Birds can starve if change-over not done correctly.
